Everyone has a right to equal justice under the law. Unfortunately, rights do not enforce themselves.

My law practice focuses on giving a voice to those who would otherwise be at the mercy of those who use their power and status to cheat those less fortunate.

Trust and cooperation are the glue that holds society together. Fraud corrodes that glue.

I'm also passionate about issues of free speech, due process, and access to information, particularly on the Internet.

In law school, I co-founded FreeCulture Fordham Law, a chapter of Students for Free Culture. I was also honored to serve on the board of Wikimedia NYC, the regional chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation whose mission is a "world in which every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge."

"We hear much of the 'corporation lawyer,' and far too little of the 'people's lawyer.' The great opportunity of the American Bar is and will be to stand again as it did in the past, ready to protect also the interests of the people."

-Louis Brandeis
